2010 Pool Hours
The Wexford pool opens May 15th. Below are the hours for public use throughout the summer.

10 Pool Rules
1.0 RESIDENT & GUEST POLICY
1.1 No one may utilize the facilities without being sponsored by a resident/homeowner with fully paid up dues. Guests must announce themselves to the Guard on duty upon entering the pool. A sponsoring homeowner is responsible for the Guest’s actions.
1.2 No more than 3 daily guests will be allowed at any one time without checking with the Lifeguards first for capacity planning. Prior arrangements must be made with the Lifeguards for Guests to use the pool for more than two consecutive days.
1.3 Guests under the age of ten (10) must always be accompanied by a resident over sixteen (16) years old.
2.0 GENERAL POOL RULES
2.1 All persons using the pool do so at their own risk and responsibility. They must abide by all membership and guest policies as well as the lifeguards who are onsite.
2.2 The pool is closed when a lifeguard is not on duty.
2.3 Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied pool side by a guardian. Guardians must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
2.4 The Lifeguard is in charge and has full authority to enforce all rules, both written and unwritten.
2.5 No glass bottles inside pool area.
2.6 Horseplay, such as running, pushing, dunking or excessive splashing is not permitted.
2.7 Everyone must shower before entering the pool.
2.8 Anyone with an infectious disease, sores or rash is not permitted to enter the pool.
2.9 Profanity, improper behavior or vulgar remarks are prohibited.
2.10 Any child wearing a flotation device must have constant parental supervision in order to assure the child’s safety.
2.11 Anyone wearing flotation devices may not go off of the diving board or swim in the deep end of the pool.
2.12 The lifeguard will only allow arm flotations and swim rings no larger than 32” in the pool. No floats or rings larger than 32” will be accepted. The Lifeguard may prohibit the use of floats depending upon pool crowding or other conditions.
2.13 Acceptable rules of conduct prohibit the calling for “help” when not actually in need.
2.14 Lifeguard stands are off limits to everyone but the Lifeguards.
2.15 Diving is only permitted in the diving-board area. Diving from the edge of the diving-board area is permitted only when the board is closed. No running approach permitted when diving from edge of pool. No diving in shallow water or in the areas outside the diving tank. No diving from swim team blocks during regular pool hours.
2.16 Nerf or beach balls are allowed in the pool. No tennis (or other hard) balls allowed in the pool.
2.17 ”Adult Swim” will be called each hour for 15 minutes at 45 minutes past the hour. Only people eighteen (18) years of age and older are allowed in the pool during adult swim.
2.18 No pets, bikes, skates, motorized vehicles or loud radios are allowed inside the gate or in the pool area.
2.19 In consideration to others, you may not save chairs or lounges with towels if you are not in the pool area.
2.20 No hanging on the pool ropes or lane dividers.
2.21 Children under 6 must be accompanied by someone 12 or older to the bathroom.
3.0 WADING POOL RULES:
3.1 There are no lifeguards on duty at the wading pool. Therefore all parents are responsible for their children’s safety and should remain with their children at all times. Only children under 5 are allowed in the baby pool.
3.2 Diapers are prohibited in either pool. Swim diapers and plastic pants must be worn at all times.
4.0 DIVING BOARD RULES
4.1 Only one person on the diving board at a time.
4.2 Diving board should only be mounted by climbing the ladder.
4.3 Only one person at a time on the ladder.
4.4 All divers must wait until the previous swimmer moves out of the way before diving.
4.5 Only one bounce on the diving board.
4.6 Dive straight off of the front of the board. Diving or jumping from the side of the board is prohibited.
4.7 After diving, move quickly out of the way of the next diver.
4.8 Swimming in the diving area is not allowed unless the Lifeguard has closed the diving board and opened the deep end to swimming.
4.9 No one may hang off or do hand-stands off of the board.
